خلاصه داستان (فارسی)

ادوارد کول، میلیاردر شرکتی، و کارتر چمبرز، مکانیک طبقه کارگر، دو دنیای کاملاً متفاوت دارند. آنها در یک دوراهی در زندگی خود، در یک اتاق بیمارستان بستری می‌شوند و متوجه می‌شوند که دو چیز مشترک دارند: تمایل به گذراندن وقت باقی‌مانده برای انجام هر کاری که همیشه می‌خواسته‌اند انجام دهند و نیاز تحقق نیافته‌ای برای کنار آمدن با هویت خود. آنها با هم سفر جاده‌ای بی‌نظیری را آغاز می‌کنند، در طول مسیر با هم دوست می‌شوند و یاد می‌گیرند که زندگی را به کمال، با بینش و شوخ‌طبعی، زندگی کنند.

Synopsis (English)

Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers are worlds apart. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest, with insight and humor.
