داستان در آینده‌ای نزدیک، جامعه‌ای متکی به فناوری که انسان را در مقابل ماشین‌های کشتار قرار می‌دهد، روایت می‌شود. در این پس‌زمینه، یک واحد نظامی نخبه با هلیکوپتر به یک مرکز آموزشی جزیره‌ای دورافتاده و خارج از شبکه منتقل می‌شود. چیزی که به عنوان یک تمرین آموزشی ساده برای کاپیتان بوکز و واحد منسجمش آغاز می‌شود، به نبردی وحشتناک و مرگبار تبدیل می‌شود، زیرا تفنگداران دریایی متوجه می‌شوند که جزیره توسط دشمنی که فراتر از مفهوم شر انسانی است، تصرف شده است.

Synopsis (English)

Set in a near future, technology-reliant society that pits man against killing machines. Against this backdrop an elite army unit is helicoptered to a remote, off-the-grid island training facility. What starts out as a simple training exercise for Captain Bukes and his tight-knit unit, descends into a terrifying battle to the death, as the marines discover the island is overrun by an enemy that transcends the human concept of evil.
