خلاصه داستان (فارسی)

پدری و پسرش به تنهایی در آمریکای سوخته قدم می‌زنند. هیچ چیز در این چشم‌انداز ویران‌شده تکان نمی‌خورد، جز خاکسترِ باد و آب. هوا آنقدر سرد است که سنگ‌ها را می‌شکند و وقتی برف می‌بارد، هوا خاکستری است. مقصد آنها جنوب گرم‌تر است، هرچند نمی‌دانند چه چیزی، اگر اصلاً چیزی در انتظارشان باشد، در آنجا انتظارشان را می‌کشد.

Synopsis (English)

A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind and water. It is cold enough to crack stones and, when the snow falls, it is gray. Their destination is the warmer south, although they don't know what, if anything, awaits them there.
